Dumpster Rental Application

  • $50 Deposit: (Due upon signing rental agreement) Applied to final dumpster bill

  • $13.00 Rental Fee: (Max. rental time frame) 2 Weeks

  • $14.00 Weight Fee: Charged each time the dumpster needs to be weighed

  • $80.83: Per ton in town customer

  • $91.79: Per ton out of town customer

Village Recycling Options

A paper/newspaper recycling bin is available at the Village Garage
101 W. Fir St. Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Village also provides curbside pick up of cardboard and paper/newspaper. Put out separately on your regular garbage pick up day. Newspaper/Paper needs to be bundled and the cardboard needs to be free from any foreign material such as plastic or styrofoam. You can now view, print, and/or pay your utility bill online using the customer portal at http://newlondon.authoritypay.com.

Tier 1 Sanitation Customer charged a monthly fee is entitled to a weekly pick up of 6 bags or 3 cans of garbage weekly. If an extra pick up is needed please call the Village office to schedule.

Tier 2 service is available at an additional monthly charge.

2025 SPRING CLEAN UP INFO

Village of New London RESIDENTS spring clean up dates

FOUR DAYS ONLY, Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th and May 14th and May 21st The time will be 7am to 7pm both days. Photo ID and proof of address is required at the time of entering the gate, village employees will be overseeing the drop off area. This is a free service provided by the Village of New London sanitation department, please do not take advantage of us.

WE WILL NOT TAKE

Tires, batteries, asbestos materials or anything containing asbestos, petroleum products (oils, gas, fuels, paints), no tanks or 55 gallon drums, no chemical/liquids in any container, no rocks concrete, dirt, yard waste, railroad ties or telephone poles.

WE WILL TAKE

Scrap metal and old metal appliances, anything with refrigerant like dehumidifiers or refrigerators and freezers must have the refrigerant removed by a qualified person before it is taken to the drop off area. Any old mattresses must be bagged or wrapped in plastic, household rubbish will be taken on these days as well Paint must be air dried prior to the days
